A Grand Prix weekend
A standard weekend has three practice sessions, qualifying on Saturday and the race on Sunday. Six weekends a year use the sprint format instead: one practice session and sprint qualifying on Friday, the sprint race and qualifying for the Grand Prix on Saturday, and the Grand Prix on Sunday. The race itself is about 305 kilometres, so most Grands Prix finish in around an hour and a half.
Many of our F1 weekends have one listing that covers every session, so the stream links on that page work from first practice to the chequered flag. When a session has its own listing, it appears here with its own time.
Race times around the world
The calendar has 24 rounds and the start times move with the time zones. European races usually start at 3:00 PM local time, which is 9:00 or 10:00 AM ET. Races in the Americas run in the afternoon US time. Races in Asia and the Middle East fall early in the morning in the US, and the night races in Singapore and Las Vegas and the evening races in the Gulf have their own times. Every session on this page shows in your time zone, so there is no need to work out the difference.
The 2026 rules
2026 started a new set of technical rules, with new power units that take a larger share of their power from the electric motor, and smaller, lighter cars. Eleven teams are on the grid, with Cadillac joining as the eleventh. Audi took over the Sauber team for the same season.
How to watch F1
In the United States, Formula 1 moved to Apple TV from the 2026 season. In the UK, Sky Sports F1 shows every session live, and other countries have their own broadcasters. F1 TV, the series' own service, is sold in many countries. Our event pages list up to three stream links, best first, and every link opens a player run by another website.
In the US, the Apple TV subscription includes F1 TV Premium, the series' own app with onboard cameras and team radio. In the UK, Sky is the only place for every session live, and Channel 4 shows highlights of each race on the same day plus the British Grand Prix live. In most other countries F1 TV Pro is sold on its own, with every session live and replays straight after.
If you miss a session
Qualifying and races are replayed in full on the broadcasters' apps, and F1's own YouTube channel posts highlights shortly after each session. The official F1 app shows live timing, which is how many fans follow practice sessions at work: positions, gaps and lap times update every few seconds without any video.
Other motor racing on this page
The page also lists MotoGP, IndyCar, NASCAR and other series when the sources carry them, each named in its own group. MotoGP weekends follow a similar rhythm to F1, with a sprint race on Saturday and the main race on Sunday. NASCAR's Cup Series runs from February to November, mostly on Sunday afternoons US time, and the IndyCar season runs from March to late summer, with the Indianapolis 500 at the end of May.
Using this page
The list runs seven days ahead. A session in progress moves to the top of its day with a LIVE marker and leaves the list a few hours after it ends.
If the stream stalls
Switch to the next link first. Reload the player page if it freezes and close other video tabs on a slow connection. Some players will not load through certain VPN servers.
