Search for a CrackStreams link on a Saturday morning and you will find a dozen sites using the name. Some are dead, some went up last week, and most are covered in pop-ups. That churn is the main reason people look for alternatives. This guide goes sport by sport through the official places to watch in the 2026-27 season, with prices checked in October 2026, and points out the free options where they exist. CrackStreams itself lists the day's games and start times for each sport, which is a good place to begin before you open an app.

Why the old links keep disappearing

Unofficial stream sites lose their domains often. In December 2024 the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) said operators based in Hanoi had agreed to hand over 138 domains, and TorrentFreak reported that sites using the CrackStreams and Streameast names were among them. In February 2025 at least 40 more sports streaming domains were seized over Super Bowl weekend. Streameast's network of 80 domains went offline in September 2025 after a joint action by ACE and Egyptian authorities, and during the 2026 World Cup the Justice Department's Operation Offsides took down more than 1,000 domains in three waves.

TorrentFreak also found that most of the domains seized in 2024 were copycats with no connection to the brands they imitated. A site that looks like the one you used last season may be run by someone else entirely, which is worth keeping in mind before you click anything on it.

NFL

Most NFL games are still on free broadcast TV. CBS and FOX carry the Sunday afternoon games, NBC has Sunday Night Football, and ABC simulcasts some of ESPN's Monday night games, so an antenna covers a large part of the season. The rest is spread across apps. Thursday Night Football is on Prime Video, ESPN-only Monday games need an ESPN plan, and Netflix has two of this year's three Christmas Day games: Packers vs. Bears at 1 p.m. ET and Bills at Broncos at 4:30 p.m. ET.

To stream the broadcast games, Paramount+ starts at $8.99 a month for CBS, Fox One is about $20 a month for FOX, and Peacock Premium is $12.99 a month for NBC after Peacock raised prices in August 2026. ESPN Unlimited now costs $31.99 a month. Out-of-market Sunday afternoon games are on NFL Sunday Ticket, which costs $378 for the season for existing YouTube TV customers, $240 for new YouTube TV subscribers and $480 through YouTube Primetime Channels. Super Bowl LXI is on ABC and ESPN on February 14, 2027. The NFL page lists each week's kickoff times.

NBA

The 2026-27 season starts on October 20 with a tripleheader on NBC and Peacock. National games are split three ways: NBC and Peacock have 100 regular-season games, ABC and ESPN have 80, and Prime Video has 66, according to NBA.com. The week has a set pattern. Monday games stream on Peacock, Tuesday doubleheaders are on NBC and Peacock, Wednesday belongs to ESPN, and Prime Video takes Thursdays from January. ABC's Saturday primetime games start on December 12.

Prime Video also has the knockout rounds of the NBA Cup, with the final on December 11 in Indianapolis, and all six Play-In games. ABC and ESPN keep the Finals. Games that are not national and not in your home market are on NBA League Pass, sold in the NBA App and on NBA.com. A few teams now put local games on free TV: the Phoenix Suns air on 3TV and other Arizona's Family stations, and 15 Cleveland Cavaliers games are on free over-the-air stations and simulcast free on the DAZN app. See the NBA schedule for tip-off times.

NHL

The NHL season opened on September 29 with an ESPN tripleheader. ESPN and ABC share the national games with TNT Sports, and TNT's games stream on HBO Max. A lot of ESPN's share is streaming-only: the Los Angeles Kings say eight of their 12 national games this season stream only on ESPN+ and Hulu. TNT has the 2027 Stanley Cup Final. The Winter Classic, Utah against Colorado at Rice-Eccles Stadium, is on December 31. Daily start times are on the NHL page.

MLB

Baseball is down to its last few weeks. The NLCS is on FOX, FS1 and Fox One, the ALCS is on TBS, truTV and HBO Max, and the World Series starts on Friday, October 23 on FOX, with a possible Game 7 on October 31. This season already ran under the three-year deals that started in 2026: Sunday Night Baseball and the Wild Card round went to NBC and Peacock, Netflix had the Opening Night game and the Home Run Derby, and MLB.TV is now sold through ESPN. The MLB page has the remaining postseason games.

UFC and MMA

UFC pay-per-view has ended in the US. Every numbered UFC event and every Fight Night now streams on Paramount+ with no extra fee, and Paramount also simulcasts some numbered events free on CBS. Paramount+ Essential is $8.99 a month. Premium, which adds your live local CBS station and removes ads, is $13.99. Upcoming cards are on the UFC and MMA page.

College football

Saturday games are spread across ABC and the ESPN networks, FOX (including Big Noon Kickoff), CBS, NBC and Peacock, and The CW. ESPN says every game on its networks streams in the ESPN App, FOX simulcasts its games on Fox One, and CBS games stream on Paramount+. The College Football Playoff field is set on December 6. The first round is December 18 and 19 on ESPN, ABC and TNT, and the national championship is on January 25, 2027 on ABC and ESPN. Kickoff times are on the college football page.

Formula 1

Apple TV has had exclusive US rights to F1 since the start of 2026. It costs $12.99 a month after a seven-day trial, or $99 a year, and includes F1 TV Premium, which used to cost $129 a year on its own. All practice sessions are free in the Apple TV app without a subscription. Six races are left after Singapore, from Austin on October 23-25 to Abu Dhabi on December 4-6. Session times are on the F1 page.

A word on random stream sites

The risks are well documented. A 2016 study by researchers at KU Leuven and Stony Brook University made more than 850,000 visits to 5,685 free live streaming domains and found that users were regularly exposed to deceptive ads, malware, malicious browser extensions and scams. During Operation Offsides, a Homeland Security Investigations official warned that people running these sites may try to plant malware or take payment details. If a page asks you to install a "player," update your browser or enter card details to unlock a game, close the tab.

If you want free

Free and legal options are narrower but real: an antenna, local teams on free TV and free sessions inside paid apps. They are covered in free and legal ways to stream live sports in 2026, and the full cost of a cable-free setup is in how to watch live sports without cable. If a link that worked yesterday is dead today, start with is CrackStreams down?

Questions

What is the cheapest legal way to watch NFL games?

A TV antenna. CBS and FOX Sunday afternoon games, NBC's Sunday Night Football and the Monday games ABC simulcasts are free over the air. Prime Video's Thursday games, Netflix's Christmas games and ESPN-only Monday games need those services.

Is UFC still on pay-per-view in 2026?

Not in the US. Every numbered UFC event and every Fight Night is included with any Paramount+ plan, which starts at $8.99 a month, and selected numbered events also air on CBS.

Where can I watch Formula 1 in the US now?

Apple TV is the only US home of F1 from 2026. It costs $12.99 a month or $99 a year, and all practice sessions are free in the Apple TV app.

Are all sites called CrackStreams run by the same people?

No. TorrentFreak reported that most domains seized under well-known stream brand names in 2024 were unaffiliated copycats.
