How to watch
How to watch the NFL in the 2026 season: channels, apps and prices

The 2026 NFL season started on Wednesday, Sept. 9, when the Patriots visited the Seahawks on NBC and Peacock in a rematch of Super Bowl LX. Week 18 ends on Jan. 10, 2027, and Super Bowl LXI is on Feb. 14 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Between those dates the games are split across broadcast TV, cable and several streaming services, so most fans need more than one subscription to see all of their team's games.
This guide lists who has which games, what each service costs this season, and the free options that still work.
Who has which games
| Games | TV channel | Streaming |
|---|---|---|
| Sunday afternoon, mostly AFC | CBS | Paramount+ |
| Sunday afternoon, mostly NFC | FOX | FOX One |
| Sunday Night Football and the Kickoff Game | NBC | Peacock |
| Monday Night Football | ESPN, some on ABC | ESPN app |
| Thursday Night Football and Black Friday | No national channel | Prime Video |
| Five special games | No national channel | Netflix |
| International and some late-season games | NFL Network | ESPN app (ESPN Unlimited) |
| Out-of-market Sunday afternoon games | No channel | NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube |
Sunday Night Football is subject to flexible scheduling, so a game picked in the spring can move. Sports Media Watch keeps a week-by-week list. In Week 6, for example, Seahawks-Broncos is on Prime Video on Thursday, Oct. 15, Cowboys-Packers is the Sunday night game on NBC, and Commanders-49ers is the Monday game on Oct. 19.
What each service costs
| Service | Price | NFL games |
|---|---|---|
| FOX One | $19.99 a month | Your local FOX station and FS1 |
| Paramount+ Premium | $13.99 a month | Your live local CBS station |
| Peacock Premium | $12.99 a month | Sunday Night Football |
| ESPN Unlimited | About $32 a month | Monday Night Football and NFL Network |
| Prime Video | Included with Amazon Prime | Thursday Night Football, Black Friday |
| Netflix | Any Netflix plan | Five games |
| NFL+ | $6.99 a month or $49.99 a year | Local and primetime games on phones and tablets |
| NFL+ Premium | $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year | NFL+ plus RedZone and full replays |
| NFL Sunday Ticket | $378 or $480 a season | Out-of-market Sunday afternoon games |
Some of these went up this fall. Peacock raised every plan on Aug. 18, and Premium went from $10.99 to $12.99 a month. ESPN raised Unlimited from about $30 to about $32 a month on Sept. 17. On Paramount+, only Premium includes the live feed of your local CBS station; the $8.99 Essential plan leaves it out, so check what you get before you pick the cheaper plan.
NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube
Sunday Ticket is the official way to watch Sunday afternoon games that are not shown in your area. For 2026, 9to5Google lists $378 for the season for people who already have YouTube TV, paid on top of the YouTube TV bill. Without YouTube TV, the package costs $480 through YouTube Primetime Channels. New YouTube TV subscribers could get it from $240 under a launch offer.
It has limits. Sunday Ticket does not include Sunday, Monday or Thursday night games, preseason or playoff games, or the Sunday afternoon games your local CBS and FOX stations already carry. If you follow a team that plays in your market, you do not need it.
NFL Network moved to ESPN
NFL Network is now owned by Disney, and ESPN produces its games. Since July 30 the channel has been part of the ESPN app for ESPN Unlimited subscribers. Sports Video Group reports seven regular-season games on NFL Network this season: five International Series games in Paris, London and Madrid, and a Week 16 doubleheader. The next two are Texans-Jaguars in London on Oct. 18 and Steelers-Saints in Paris on Oct. 25.
Netflix, Prime Video and the holidays
Thursday Night Football streams only on Prime Video this season, and so does the Black Friday game on Nov. 27. Netflix has five games. WTOP's May report listed them: the Week 1 Rams-49ers game in Melbourne, which was the first regular-season NFL game in Australia, a Thanksgiving Eve game (Packers at Rams, Nov. 25, 8:35 p.m. ET), two Christmas Day games and a 1 p.m. ET game on the Saturday of Week 18. Sports Media Watch lists the Christmas games as Packers-Bears and Bills-Broncos. FOX has a third Christmas game, Rams-Seahawks, at night.
Thanksgiving Day itself stays on broadcast TV. On Nov. 26 it is Bears-Lions on CBS, Eagles-Cowboys on FOX and Bills-Chiefs on NBC.
Free and low-cost options
An antenna is still the cheapest way to watch. Your local CBS, FOX, NBC and ABC stations are free over the air where you get reception, and that covers the Sunday afternoon games in your market, Sunday Night Football and the Monday games that ABC simulcasts. It also covers the whole Thanksgiving tripleheader and the Super Bowl on ABC. There is no monthly fee.
NFL+ at $6.99 a month is the cheapest paid option. It plays live local and primetime games, but only on phones and tablets. It also includes NFL Network and live game audio. NFL+ Premium adds NFL RedZone, full and condensed replays and All-22 coaches film.
If you only care about one team, look at its schedule first. If your team has one Thursday game and one Netflix game, a month of Prime Video and a month of Netflix may matter more than Sunday Ticket.
Playoffs and Super Bowl LXI
Fubo's season calendar lists Wild Card Weekend for Jan. 16-18, 2027, the divisional round for Jan. 23-24 and the conference championship games for Jan. 31. CBS, FOX, NBC and ESPN all carry playoff games.
Super Bowl LXI is on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium, the second Super Bowl there after Super Bowl LVI in 2022. ABC has the broadcast, ESPN has the main cable telecast, ESPN2 has the ManningCast, and ESPN Deportes and Univision have Spanish-language coverage. It also streams on Disney+, the ESPN app and NFL+.
Where CrackStreams fits
CrackStreams lists the day's NFL games and kickoff times on its NFL page. Check who plays when, then find the channel or app in the tables above. For Saturdays, our college football guide covers the conference deals and the playoff schedule.
